ACADEMIC PARTNERS

MU is a member of the Austrian Association of Private Universities (ÖPUK), the umbrella organization which links together the 12 nationally-recognized Austrian private universities and represents the interests of the private higher education sector in Austria. MU President Karl Wöber is currently the Chairman.

Making access to higher education more democratic enables the increasingly strong demand for higher education programs in the European States to be met. It also contributes to nurturing knowledge-led European economies. States are clear about the advantage that can be found in dual approaches and are increasingly called to adopt a cooperative approach between public and private institutions rather than a competitive one.

Modul University Vienna operates closely with Tourism College MODUL, which is owned by the Vienna Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Vienna Tourist Board and Modul University Vienna are cooperating in several projects. The Vienna Tourist Board also provides scholarships for students of Modul University Vienna.

MU cooperates with the Dr. Michael Häupl - Förderungsfonds (MHFF), which helps bring higher education to talented young people in need by offering performance-based student loans.

MU has a growing list of international partner universities for academic and student exchange. The internationally recognized institutions are located in Europe, North America, Australia, and Asia.
