Spring Orientation Week 2018

Last week we welcomed a new group of aspiring academics to their new home on Kahlenberg for Spring Orientation Week 2018. As always it's been a whirlwind of a week packed with new faces, new challenges, social activities and getting to know MU. Orientation Week 2018 was a fantastic opportunity to welcome over 40 new students from across Europe and beyond. Dean of the undergraduate school Florian Aubke took the opportunity to address our new cohort about adapting to life at MU Vienna and how to deal with challenges students may face as they think about their future careers.

Throughout the week our new Modulians were also offered a tour of Vienna with orientation leaders as well as a full calendar of events featuring a bowling tournament, dinner evening, plus an ice breaker session at one of Vienna's finest eateries 'Sneak In'. Students later told MU "Everything was awesome. Nothing to add" whilst another gave the feedback “Bowling was super fun and so was the tour!”.

We wish all of our new students a fantastic start in this new academic chapter.
